Artist's Reception
Sep 19 12pm- 3pm
The Artists Atelier Gallery and Studios are proud to present the work of the photographic artists from the Atlanta Artist Center's Photography Salon. This is a group of dedicated photographers who strive for studied artistic expression, while maintaining exacting technical excellence. Members regularly achieve juried placements and awards for photographic work that not only, "pushes the envelope," but helps define it. Photographs using traditional processes, new processes and experimental processes will be featured.
"We have found that the association with a group of outstanding artists in all media, such as those at the Artists Atelier has broadened and nurtured our creativity and challenged our thinking about what is possible with photography," said H. Gay Allen, Founder and Chairman of the salon.
The Artists Atelier is a working artists' studio where Georgia painters, sculptors and photographers create display and sell their work to emerging and advance collectors. The Atelier was founded by well-known artist Ouida Canaday in 1985 and was the first artist co-op in Atlanta.
The public is invited to attend one of two receptions, either Saturday, September 19, or Saturday, October 17, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. These events are a part of Miami Circle's Art Walk.
